Well, that was quite a big hug. Lady had more strength than he thought, rather than just weather abilities. Returning the hug gently, so he would not hurt her, the Horseman was wearing a smirk from ear to ear. Goodness, Lady smelled nicely.
“Let’s just say I have a sixth sense about when my Lady needs my company.” War said with a smug expression as he walked inside, “Any plans for tonight?”
“Weeellll,” she drawled, swinging her hips a little as she walked in front of him, “I hope you won’t be too upset if I want to stay in this realm this time? I need a bit of a breather after that last visit.” She smiled at him, hoping he’d understand that she didn’t blame him for what had happened with the Camazotz.
Taking a break from the supernatural world was fine with the Horseman. Truthfully, he needed a breather. He wanted a night where he would not have to worry if something could or would go wrong.
“I understand completely.” War replied with a small nod, “Besides, it would be fun to get out in the human world to see what has changed. Whatever you’d like to do… however…” He looked down at his suit of armor, tapping his chin in thought. “And I’m assuming I can’t really walk around like this unless I want to cause some heart attacks…”
Lady chuckled. “Not unless we went to a Renaissance Fair, I’m afraid. And there aren’t any of those open right now.”
She looked thoughtful. “If you’re up for it, I could take you shopping. The mall’s open for a few more hours, and they have some very nice shops there. And then maybe we could go to a club afterward?”
Just thinking about it made her grin. It had been a while since she helped a man pick out clothes, and it was always fun. She just hoped War would be willing to help pay for whatever they chose.
War could sense Lady behind the door. She was probably looking through that little glass hole by now. Well, she wouldn’t be looking directly at his face, considering his head was only a mere ten inches from the ceiling. Mortals had such low ceilings nowadays. Where humans getting shorter or what?
“Special delivery of one fiery Persian for a hot night of passion, guaranteed.” The Horseman teased, “Presenting your personal boy toy; porn star quality assured.”
A heartbeat later, the door was open and Lady was flinging herself into War’s arms. She hugged him tightly, grinning with delight as she pressed her face against his shoulder.
“I hoped you might come by!” After their last outing together, Lady wouldn’t have blamed him if he’d wanted to stay away for a while. “Here, come inside!”

The last date the two of them had was not really the best. War still felt horrible over what happened. It had been way too close. The Horseman had not felt fear like such in a long, long while. Hell, the last time he had that particular feeling was when he… well… when he saved his sister and her family. But now, Lady was his weakness. He would have to make sure this stayed secluded for now. Hell, the Camazotz almost killed her to get to him, who would try next?!
Horsemen were not supposed to have a lover. His brother, Death, learned that the hard way. Muriann and Death had ten years of bliss together, and then the old king of hell killed her. Death’s wife was murdered brutally and it nearly broke the Horseman. How many centuries did Death spend mourning her? War was determined not to let something of the sort happen with Lady.
Clearing his throat, the Horseman gave a deep sigh as he knocked on her apartment door. Hopefully Lady would not mind a visit…
Since things had been quiet at the museum (the summer tourist crowd hadn’t started pouring into the city yet), Bernard had let Lady have the afternoon off. She’d headed back to her apartment to change, and was now lounging on her couch, trying to decide what to do with the rest of the evening.
Dammit, she wanted to go out somewhere! But all her friends were busy, and clubbing wasn’t as much fun by herself. Maybe a movie …
Then she heard the knock at the front door. Her eyes widened a little, and she headed over to take a look through the peephole. Someone with as many enemies as she had couldn’t be too careful. “Who is it?”

“Sadon? Usually a couple of times a week.” Sargon said with a puff, blowing his whiskers out of the way, “You’ll have to forgive him if he stares at you. He’s not used to being around females all that much… or humans in general.”
The water dragon closed his eyes for a moment, before saying, “He has his mother’s gentle heart. Sadon is a better doctor than I could ever hope to be. He just helped a centaur couple with their first child not too long ago… the mother was infertile. I believe the two sell adornments at the Troll Market.”
Flicking his tail slightly, he then said with a soft chuckle, “You’ll have to learn to put up with War. He’s overly protective, but doesn’t try to show it too much. He also has a weakness for honey, loves to eat it. He displays his personality as a huge flirt, but he’s really quite a loyal man.” He shook his head with a snicker, “You should have seen how fast he ran out of the cave when I spat some ice spikes at him for looking down Yasurayi’s shirt… never seen someone move that fast.”
“Oh, don’t worry. I’m used to being stared at.” Grinning, Lady gave a little twirl, her white hair swinging around her. “I’ve learned to enjoy the attention.”
She listened more as Sargon talked about his son. When he mentioned the centaur couple, she remembered them instantly (their words had made quite an impression), and told him about her shopping trip with War a few months ago. “I did notice he’s fond of honey,” she chuckled. “When we had breakfast, he ate half a jar of the stuff. I’ll make sure I have some quality honey in stock when he visits.”
To the rest of it, she wasn’t sure what to say. It wouldn’t have bothered her if War wanted to see other women. She wasn’t limiting herself to just him, yet - they’d only been on a few dates, and neither of them had promised anything serious. Right now she was just content to have fun with one of the most interesting men she’d ever met.
Sargon had to give a toothy grin at Lady’s comment.
“Well, you are quite a sight, Miss Lady. Do not fret, you can always come back for the potion. Sadon will be more than happy to help you. You only need ask…” The old water dragon mused, “And by the way, Miss Lady, you do know any man would be a fool not to take a second glance.”
“Lady! Sargon didn’t eat you , did he?” War called from outside the cave, “Come on, I gotta get you back home cause I know how you are if you miss work.”
Chuckling, Sargon then told Miss Lady, “Do come back and see me again? It would be nice to have company of such a pretty lady.”
“I’m looking forward to it!” Lady replied, and meant every word. She made an elegant, sweeping curtsy to the old dragon, smiling, and went out to join Lord War.
“Well, here I am, whole and uneaten,” she teased him. “And I’m ready to go home. This has been a more exciting night than I’ve had in a long time!”
“Just wanted to make sure.” War pouted a little with his arms crossed, “Besides, don’t let the old dragon fool you, he was the biggest flirt around these parts before he took Yasurayi as a mate.”
The Horsemen then offered his arm, “Next time we go out on a date, let’s avoid those bloodthirsty Camazotz, yes?”
And with a whoosh of wind, War took his Lady home

“Of course, Miss Lady.” Sargon replied with a small nod of his huge head, “It shall be waiting for you here, for whenever you decide to use it.”
Slowly, the glowing potion floated back to it’s proper place on the old shelves. There were several works of magic in bottles there. Some potions healed wounds, others made scars disappear, and there were a select few powerful enough to heal internal damage! Diseases and sickness could be eradicated easily.
The water dragon gave her a note, “You must mate with your selected suitor once you take it. The effect will be immediate as soon as activated by magic.” Lying his head down on his massive forepaws, Sargon rumbled softly, “I will be happy to activate the potion for you, Miss Lady, if I am still here. If not, my son, Sadon will do so for you.”
A small twist of magic brought forth an image of the hybrid.
He said tiredly, “This is Sadon, my only boy. His magic is increasing in power everyday. Then again, he is still young by dragon standards.” Sargon snorted lightly, “The only good thing about getting old is you know it is time to see missed loved ones again… otherwise, everything creaks and pops.”
Lady could only nod in reply. She had no doubt he was telling the truth about getting old, but it wasn’t something she could really imagine herself.
In fact, now that she thought about it, she really had no idea what her own natural lifespan might be. All the other glaupunks she knew (all two of them) were only a few years older than her. And her mother had died young - no clue there. She’d grown up at the same rate as a human, but now that she was an adult, how many more years did she have ahead of her?
For a moment - and for the first time in her life - Lady Doppler found herself really thinking about her own mortality.
“… I’d like to meet him, sometime,” she said at last. “Does he come by here often?”

“A curse of having difficulty to conceive is a burden no woman should ever have to bare.” The wise dragon said with sympathy in his eyes, “I can sense there is good in your heart with a lot of love to give endlessly. You would be an excellent mother to a child. Any little one would be lucky to have you, Miss Lady.”
Sargon continued, “I am very, very old, Miss Lady. Years have passed me by like a blur. I have helped creatures of this forest and many others from different realms around this planet. I have loved only one woman and I miss her so.” He flicked his tail, his eyes downcast, “I know my time on this earth will not be much longer. So I wish to do one last good deed before my time is ended…”
With a flick of his claw, the water dragon summoned a potion in a rather large vial over to their side. It floated in the air, hanging between the two. The colors were rather bright, glowing a deep red with turquoise hue surrounding it. It seemed to be swirling inside of the bottle like in a game of never-ending tag.
His whiskers twitched as he told Lady, “This is a potion you can take which will help you. It will be able to give you a child, whether you mate with your own species or not…”
The white-haired woman stared in silent awe, the glow of the potion reflecting in her eyes.
She hardly dared to even reach out and touch the vial. This … Sargon’s promise … it was like something out of a dream. More so than anything she’d encountered this night, and that was saying a lot. Something she’d hoped for so badly … she was almost afraid to believe it, for fear it would all turn out to be a cruel disappointment.
“… I don’t know what to say,” she breathed at last. “Except, thank you. I … I don’t suppose you could keep it for me? Until I’m ready to use it?”
This was still so much to take in. To know that, if and when she chose, she could conceive a child of her own. Just having the option was such a revelation.
“Of course, Miss Lady.” Sargon replied with a small nod of his huge head, “It shall be waiting for you here, for whenever you decide to use it.”

For a moment - and for the first time in her life - Lady Doppler found herself really thinking about her own mortality.
“… I’d like to meet him, sometime,” she said at last. “Does he come by here often?”
Lady’s smile faded. Even for someone as used to wandering as she was, the thought of not even remembering which dimension you’d come from was upsetting. “Oh … I’m sorry to hear that. You’re, uh, welcome in this one, though.” She really wasn’t sure what to say to that.
“Oh it’s really all right! I’m used to it. I’m happy to hear that though - I mean I hope it doesn’t upset anyone when I disappear again. I tend to jump around unexpectedly.” Though she giggled now, she wandered for a moment if it was even worth making friends if she was only going to leave them. Not that she could help it.
Lady swallowed. Unlike Inu, she didn’t think that kind of instability was something to giggle over. But, it was the girl’s life, not hers - if she could laugh about it, more power to her.
“At least your life is never boring, I suppose?”
She gave the young woman a reassuring smile. Poor girl, she looked so flustered. “Just ‘Lady’ will do fine. Tell me, Inu, where did you come from?”
“Um..would you believe me if I said I don’t know? I’ve been thrust into so many worlds I forgot which one is my original one.” No matter how hard she tried all she could recall was that she had family somewhere - brothers and a mother but she didn’t know where they were.
Lady’s smile faded. Even for someone as used to wandering as she was, the thought of not even remembering which dimension you’d come from was upsetting. “Oh … I’m sorry to hear that. You’re, uh, welcome in this one, though.” She really wasn’t sure what to say to that.
((Had saved this thinking that we’d use it during the threesome thread, but I guess this still likely happened at some point during the continued sexytimes.))
[[ Lady and I are both very much in approval of this XD ]]

“Heh, we do get a lot of visitors here,” she remarked. “So, what’s your name? They call me Lady Doppler.”
“Oh I’m simply Inu. Nice to meet you, uh, Miss Lady Doppler?” Was that name okay? “Miss Doppler? Miss Lady probably sounds a bit strange.” She chuckled lightly, feeling hot in her clothes from how hard she was blushing.
She gave the young woman a reassuring smile. Poor girl, she looked so flustered. “Just ‘Lady’ will do fine. Tell me, Inu, where did you come from?”
[Unsurprisingly, Wayne blushes at the teasing and the implications. Why does he always have to be the awkward one in all of this? Oh, that’s right, because he’s only been having sex for about a year, while his two lovers have been at it for years, so there is that. Doesn’t make him feel any more proficient, though. At least they’re okay with how he is… even if they have to tease him about it.]I don’t know about proving all of that, but I wouldn’t mind just sharing some affection. [Lady seems a little stand-offish, but he’s hoping that that’s just because she’s not sure of her welcome, not because she’s not interested in it. If she’s not cuddly at all, that might mean that they won’t be doing this often, because that is sort of important to him.]
Lady bit her lip for a moment, trying not to show how touched she was. Both their offers sounded good - the affection just as much as the possibility of more sex.
“I think I can do that.” Reassured, she scooted closer to Wayne, curling her body along his side, with Harrison across from her. His warm bulk was delightful to snuggle against; an entirely different kind of pleasure from having him on top of her.
After watching Harrison for a moment, Lady reached up and caressed Wayne’s chest lightly, stroking her fingertips through the thick hair there. ”… I think I can do a little more, too,” she purred to both of them. “Maybe after a quick wash-up?” Only after she’d thoroughly enjoyed the three of them lying together like this, though.
Harrison let out a happy hum as she shifted closer and pulled himself up onto Wayne’s chest. It was the only way for him to reach her across his fiancee’s muscular chest, and he very much wanted to reach her. He ran a hand down her smooth naked sides and over the curve of her hip with a grin. The other hand rested up on Wayne’s thick bicep.
“Mmmm, washing up sounds like a wonderful idea,” Harrison cooed, never liking to be sticky after sex for long. He let out a long exhale, unable to stop his eyes from fluttering shut in the calm. “Can we stay and cuddle for a minute longer?” he asked, shifting and looking up at Wayne with sweet puppy dog eyes.
[He makes a pleased noise as Lady cuddles up to him, glad for both the chance to relax and the proof that she’s not just in it for the sex. True, they aren’t going to be dating or anything so intimate/committal, but having even just this sort of connection is good; casual without being dismissive. Curling an arm around each of them, he settles in, ready to just not move for a while.] Hey, I’m the one who suggested the cuddling in the first place, so I’m good right here.
[Not that he’s against having more sex, he’s still just trying to wrap his mind around the fact that not only did he have sex with a woman and like it (a lot), but also that he didn’t completely mess things up AND he got to do all of this along side his mate. Two hot people willing and able to risk sex with him, who’d have ever thought? How in the world he managed to get to this point, he’s not sure, but he definitely likes it.]
The tall, white-haired woman chuckled. “Why thank you!” She made a theatrical bow. “You’re very sweet yourself. I take it you’re new around here?”
“Kind of. Landed here not too long ago. Still finding myself around here.”
“Heh, we do get a lot of visitors here,” she remarked. “So, what’s your name? They call me Lady Doppler.”
